This is undoubtedly my favorite e Reader of 2019, the third-gen Oasis is rather steep as far as cost goes. After all, the latest Paper white is a hundred quid less and yet still delivers a waterproof finish, sharp backlit screen and all of those great Kindle features, including the lending library support and a massive selection of eBooks via the online store.

The new Kindle Oasis can survive for up to an hour submerged up to two meters deep, which means it'll shrug off the odd dunk or splash, which is reassuring if you do a lot of reading in the bath, or by the pool on holiday.

That said, this all new Oasis does serve up a bigger, more customizable display as well as brilliant battery life. And you have full Audible support as usual, so you can enjoy audiobooks by connecting to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones.
